About Me

I am an Economics PhD candidate at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I will be available for interviews at the ASSA Meeting in Philadelphia in January 2018.

I am an applied economist with primary research interests in Urban and Regional Economics, Development Economics, and Applied Macroeconomics. My research centers on connecting theory with empirics that combine new sources of granular data with natural experiments to learn about the process of urbanization in developing countries.

In my job market paper, I assess the aggregate and distributional effects of urban transit networks through the lens of the construction of the world's most used Bus Rapid Transit system in Bogot√°, Colombia.
